HISTORY
The Neem tree is deeply rooted in India's and Sri Lanka's civilization history and inseparable of it. The medicinal tree is part of Indian's culture for centuries and grew always close to people's settlement all over the nation.
The Vedas (c. 1500 – c. 500 BCE) saw Neem as a miracle cure for many ailments. It was called “SARVA ROGA NIVARINI” in Sanskrit, meaning "The curer of all ailments". Indian mythology says when the gods elixir of immortality was carried to heaven, some drops of the liquid fell down to earth and hit the Neem tree, giving it its enormous power. Another famous Indian story tells, when planting three Neem trees during one’s lifetime it is a certain ticket to heaven

TURMERIC
Like Neem, Turmeric is inseparable of India's civilization history. Its use dates back about 4000 years to the Vedas. This spice had and still has some religious significance. It was and is believed that it has the power to protect from evil spirits. The legend also says that it contains the energy of the divine mother, helping the body to balance & cleanse its energy centres and to increase its vibration to attract prosperity. Many Hindus still believe in the promising qualities of turmeric root and use it in several sacred ceremonies. Frequently it is made into a paste and applied to the sixth energy centre (forehead, third eye) during weddings and devotional ceremonies.
The use of Turmeric is also said to be beneficial for ailments and prevention of inflammatory bowel disease, improving liver function, high cholesterol, sore muscles, cancer, relief for rheumatoid arthritis.
